Project Partners
Nohemi Molina Torrez from Nicaragua

Nohemi is our link with CESESMA - an organisation working with young people in schools in the Matagalpa region in the north of the country. CESESMA specialises in promoting children's rights and they have a wealth of experience in creating interactive educational activities for young people.

Prevanan (Labby) Ramrathan from South Africa

Labby is a lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Durban-Westville. He co-ordinates ITE including PGCE programmes, runs courses for teachers to upgrade their qualifications and has good contacts in the local Durban schools.

Armelle Mqadmi from France

Armelle is an experienced teacher from Lille and she is our link with the Partenariat avec Saint Louis et sa region, which is based in Lille. The Partenariat has a sister organisation in Saint Louis in Senegal and together they support schools in Lille and Saint Louis, creating educational resources for young people in both countries.


Elhadj M'bodj from Senegal

Elhadj runs the Partenariat avec St Louis du Senegal. He has links with many schools in the Saint Louis region and has a lot of experience as a teacher and as manager of the Partenariat.

Nicole Stiehl from Wiesbaden in Germany

Nicloe is our link with MONIMBO - an organisation specialising in the design and creation of educational games and activities. Check out their Colony Game which deals with how European powers colonised large parts of the world during the last 5 centuries.

Adam Ranson, Richard Borowski and Phil Grayston from Leeds DEC
Adam and Richard conceived this whole project. They are both experienced teachers and trainers. Richard has worked overseas in Mozambique and they have given many years of service to Development Education in Leeds, Hull and Middlesborough. Phil is also an experienced teacher in England and Germany and has also worked overseas training teachers in Nepal.
