Eco Heroes

A great addition for Green Week!

KS2

There is increasing awareness about humans’ impact on the earth and often children can feel overwhelmed and powerless to take action. This practical and positive workshop involves pupils learning about actions that people are taking action around the world (through our unique Climate Action poster set, which is left with the school.) Pupils reflect on their carbon footprints and think of ways they could tread lighter on our precious planet before getting creative with some upcycling.

“The whole afternoon was well planned and delivered at a level suited to Year 4. The activities were fun and engaging and Hannah was patient with the children, giving them time to think about their discussions and offering relevant prompts. The posters were informative and provided key points for discussion. The use of evidence from young people making a difference around the world offered inspiration!”
